happy to hear that works well! and for the reason why kotelin extension not work properly because “kotlin language server”, not support “1.8.0” yet. (we talked about that last time [here](https://openrndr.discourse.group/t/hello-from-seoul/503/2)). it will work as change “1.8.0” to “1.6.0” [here](https://github.com/openrndr/openrndr-template/blob/ff1942d2a821c540d7b7d804e201c6462890f7e2/settings.gradle.kts#L11). after change it, restart kotlin language server by command prompt in vscode. kotlin extension start index for a while, and as soon as it ready, you can see code suggestion like this. ![image](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/free1/uploads/openrndr/original/1X/77e218ab45ca5d851c61c58dd5f9acf76ef2f28d.png) ![image](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/free1/uploads/openrndr/original/1X/4ce899906dc87dbb51f6258135b7f18fc9ecaaf8.png) * * * **++ PLUS** sometimes kotlin language server is not launching because it cannot find proper JAVA bin. in this case you can set java JAVA\_HOME path in vscode setting for kotlin `settings`. you can find JAVA\_HOME by `which java` in terminal.
